Flashing with UnlockTool
- Install Qualcomm USB drivers on Windows.
- Put the phone in EDL (9008): hold Vol+ + Vol− then plug USB, or use test points if fully dead.
- Open UnlockTool → select brand/model: Redmagic / NX789J (or closest profile).
- Extract the downloaded ZIP (enter the password after purchase).
- Load the firmware in UnlockTool as prompted and click Start.
- Wait for Success, then reboot. First boot may take several minutes.
Flashing with Qualcomm QFIL (QPST)
- Launch QFIL → choose Flat Build.
- Browse to the firmware folder and select prog_firehose_*.mbn.
- Load rawprogram.xml and patch.xml.
- Confirm the port shows Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008.
- Click Download and wait until completed → phone will reboot to stock.
